Q. How long does my hair need to be for a Jigeyui (traditional Japanese hairstyle using my own hair)?
A. If your hair is at least 10 cm long when tied at ponytail height, we can create a traditional Japanese updo using your own hair. Ideally, your bangs should reach the tip of your nose, but we can accommodate shorter bangs as well. Please discuss this in detail during our preliminary consultation.
Q. What is the preliminary consultation (verbalization session)?
A. It is an online session conducted via Zoom or similar platforms prior to the photo shoot date. It is an important time for us to hear about your life story and your vision of “who you want to be,” allowing us to bring out your inner beauty. Based on this consultation, we will determine the styling and direction for the photo shoot on the day of the session.
Q. Is support available in English?
A. Yes, we do. We provide support in English throughout the entire process—from your initial booking inquiry to the pre-shoot consultation and the shoot itself. Please feel free to participate with confidence.
Q. Is there anything I need to prepare and bring with me on the day of the shoot?
A. We provide all basic makeup supplies. However, you are welcome to bring your own skincare products and makeup tools if you prefer. While it’s easiest if you wear clothing that opens in the front, we also have gowns available.
Q. How do I make payment?
A. We require a 50% deposit upon booking confirmation, with the remaining 50% due 30 days before your reservation date. Both payments are made in advance via credit card or other methods.
Q. Can I cancel or change the date?
A. Since we arrange for an exclusively reserved studio and professional staff, standard cancellation fees apply starting 45 days before your reservation date. Please check the “Cancellation Policy” for details.
Q. How do I get to Sendai?
A. It’s about 90 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Sendai Airport from Taiwan, South Korea, and China. Please see the ACCESS page for details.
Q. When will I receive the photo files?
A. After the shoot, the photos will undergo professional retouching, and we’ll deliver the files within approximately ８ weeks.
